I’m thrilled to share Abyssal Ink - Goth Rock Vol.1, a goth rock and new wave compilation that’s deeply personal. This album is more than a collection of songs—it’s a part of me. Each track is performed by a fictional band that represents different sides of my life, my experiences, and my inspirations. With names like Anna Lyu, Midnight Assembly, and The Buried, every “band” tells a story, and some even return for a second song, like Poetry Club and Moniz. These bands aren’t just characters; they’re fragments of my writing, my thoughts, and my own journey.
Video Collage: Meet the Goth Icons that Could’ve Been
Each song on this album has a different look and feel, all captured through AI visuals, with me transforming into a new persona for each “band.” This is as personal as it gets. Whether it’s Wavelet’s single appearance or the recurring Poetry Club—featuring a song inspired by my fascination with dark tales, like “Tamara” by Mikhail Lermontov—these fictional bands give life to different parts of who I am.

Every track on this album is a journey, a part of my creative world, and a reflection of my personal stories. If you connect with the intensity and introspection of goth rock, I hope these songs resonate with you and leave a lasting impression.
Check out the video teaser, and let me know in the comments which “band” speaks to you. And if Elaine’s or the Friends gang’s goth dance moves made you smile, feel free to share!
